With reference to your despatch No. 532
of 30th December, 1935, regarding the Annual Abstract Account of Hong Kong for the year 1934, I have the honour to enclose a copy of a memorandum by the Colonial Treasurer regarding paragraph 3 (a) of the report by the Director of Colonial Audit relating to an advance made from Surplus Balances for the purpose of loan expenditure.
